Christine L. Mendoza is the Executive Director of the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights (NMCIR).
She brings nearly three decades of experience in film education, social justice advocacy, and executive leadership, with a global track record in education and community development. A published author and a dedicated advocate for immigrant rights, she has been with the Coalition for Immigrant Freedom for 10 years in various capacities.
Christine holds a Master’s in Comparative Ethnic Conflict from Queens University, Belfast, and has taught at prestigious institutions such as MoMA, NYU, and Columbia University. She is deeply committed to leveraging her extensive expertise in advocacy, education, and executive leadership to elevate NMCIR’s role as a leading force for justice and a champion for community empowerment.
